Yasuri Shichika, a bladeless swordsman, has lived his entire life in seclusion on a remote island with his sister, bound by the principles of his unique "Kyotouryuu" style. His solitary existence is upended by the arrival of Togame, a sharp-witted strategist who demands his service. She enlists him in her ambitious quest: to locate and claim the twelve ultimate blades forged by the legendary Shikizaki Kiki.

Their journey sends them into conflict with a series of powerful, eccentric guardians, each wielding one of the god-like swords. As Shichika battles to collect the blades, his mastery of a swordless fighting style is pushed to its absolute limit. The deeper they venture, the more the duo uncovers a conspiracy surrounding the swords’ creation, a plot that threatens to reshape the nation.

What begins as a simple mission evolves into a profound test of purpose and identity. Shichika, raised as a living sword, must learn what it means to be a man, while Togame must confront the true burden of her ambition. Together, they challenge the very laws of their world in a climactic struggle where steel and soul collide.
