A curious boy and his young sister discover a book left on a bench and open it. Inside, the small Tower of Bavel appears, its completion illustrated on a page. As they look into the tower, they see an old man seated and reading, surrounded by countless books. With each page he turns, mythical creatures materialize and vanish before their eyes.
