Description

The mega‑corporation Daedalus Group is targeted by a small activist faction called the Ghost of Icarus. While tending to several victims of the bombing, Black Jack meets Dr. Kiriko, known as Death Incarnate, who, like him, demands exorbitant fees from his patients but offers them a painless death instead of treatment. When the activist group seeks collaboration from both doctors, Black Jack becomes embroiled in a spiral of life, death, and treason as he attempts to protect his patients and prevent a biological war that could destroy humanity.
