The short film was screened before *Black Jack: Futari no Kuroi Isha* and *Black Jack: Dr. Pinoko no Mori no Bouken*, and all three titles were later bundled together on the DVD release of *Black Jack: Futari no Kuroi Isha*. In the story, Black Jack becomes furious when Pinoko, Tezuka, and Astro Boy all leave their cell phones on during an operation, only to discover that the patient Sharaku was the one who had left the phone on.
