In Shibuya, Japan, 2008, Takumi Nishijou attends the Private Suimei Academy. When he learns about the “New Gen” murders that have been occurring around the city, he dismisses the story as irrelevant to him. Soon after, strange incidents begin to happen around him, a horrific picture appears on his computer, and a mysterious pink‑haired girl stands at a murder scene. As these events accumulate, Takumi struggles to discern what is real from what might be delusion. The perpetrator behind the “New Gen” killings starts targeting him, pulling Takumi into a bewildering world where nothing is as it seems.
