Description
The Daichi family is on the brink of breaking apart. Dissatisfied and money‑obsessed mother Seiko has handed divorce papers to her wimpy, otaku husband Mamoru. Daughter Nozomi, who has always shouldered the housework, is hurt by the feeling that everyone is taking advantage of her. The youngest, Dai, who is also the most foul‑mouthed, witnesses the unraveling. When the Galaxy Federation recruits the Daichis to fight alien threats that endanger Earth, the family sees a chance to save the planet, and perhaps themselves. Originally intended as episode 11 of the TV series, a replacement episode was created instead.
