Description
Eiri Kurahashi, an art student who works in an antique shop, encounters a mysterious glass that holds a living image of a woman. The figure, Cossette, an aristocrat’s daughter from the 18th century, moves and recounts her own life before Eiri’s eyes. Drawn to her, he manages to make contact with her at midnight and learns that her spirit is trapped within the glass as a result of her murder. The killing was ordered by her betrothed, the artist Marcelo Orlando. To free Cossette, she tells Eiri that he must be willing to assume punishment for Marcelo’s sins.
