Rags Town, Japan’s notorious garbage dump, is a refuge for those who wish to erase their pasts. In this city, strict rules prohibit discussing one’s history or forming personal connections, yet a small detective agency, S&A Detectives, still operates. The story centers on Ayamana, an inseparable pair of misfit wannabe detectives, as they impulsively take on a case that spirals into unexpected danger. While investigating, they encounter a woman who is abnormally hot and is being chased by a group of armed women; the detectives give her the name Sara and set out to uncover what is happening to her. Meanwhile, teenage girls throughout the town begin burning up and turning into glass. Despite a government cover‑up, the detectives, a curious reporter, and the local police are determined to discover the truth.
