Elemi, a lone utility pole in the outskirts of a nostalgic pre‑cellular‑phone Japan, secretly illuminates the town’s night. The story unfolds as this electric pole falls deeply infatuated with the town’s electrician, Mr. Takahashi. Disguising herself as a human, Elemi decides to reach out and ring him, though such contact is prohibited by the laws governing power poles. As rumors spread across the town, Elemi’s forbidden romance draws scrutiny, ultimately leading her to be summoned before a court.
