Doraemon

Doraemon (1973) ／ どらえもん ／ ドラえもん

Description

Nobita Nobi’s careless antics in the 20th century have left his descendants in the 22nd century living in poverty. Determined to improve their fortunes, his family’s servant, a robotic cat named Doraemon, travels back in time to guide Nobita toward success. Doraemon, a malfunctioning robot that the family acquired by accident but chose to keep, is no better off than Nobita himself. Together, they embark on countless adventures, and while Nobita’s life becomes far more exciting with a futuristic robotic companion, it is unclear whether the outcomes truly match Doraemon’s original plan. Note: Most episodes are lost; a fire destroyed most of the film prints.
