Nobita must find a topic for his summer research project, and in frustration he blames Adam and Eve for the suffering of all their descendants. Doraemon gives him a gadget that allows him to observe the creation of the world, so Nobita can record the events in a diary‑like report. Suneo, Giant, and Shizuka soon join the group, and together they watch the birth of tribes and civilizations. Meanwhile, the Time Patrol is hunting an illegal time machine after hearing Giant speak about the genesis diary project. They capture Giant and Suneo, leaving Nobita, Shizuka, and Doraemon to guard the genesis set and rescue their friends.
