Description
Based on an ancient legend, *Dojoji Temple* tells the story of a young priest who becomes the target of intense infatuation and lust from a young woman. When he rebuffs her advances, she grows increasingly desperate, ultimately transforming herself into a gigantic serpent. The priest hides beneath the temple bell, but the woman’s passion is so overwhelming that escape is impossible. This short animation, created by filmmaker Kihachiro Kawamoto, blends stop‑motion and traditional animation techniques.
