Dr. Slump secretly loves Ms. Yamabuki but cannot bring himself to confess. One day, he and his friends discover a videotape from Dr. Slump’s father, which explains how to create a medicine that makes anyone fall in love with Dr. Slump. The recipe requires the nose dirt of Dr. Slump and the tears of the evil King Gyasuka. Despite the bizarre ingredients, Dr. Slump decides to give it a try. He builds a vehicle called PingPong and sets out for Under Island, the rumored lair of King Gyasuka. While Dr. Slump’s clumsiness leads him to mistake a dryer for a light gun, his companions Arale and Gaccan prove to be reliable allies. Will his wish for Ms. Yamabuki’s love finally come true?
