Ekubo Ouji is a hybrid animation/claymation series designed to teach children discipline and morality. It originally aired as part of the early‑morning children’s program Hirake! Ponkikki, and after its initial broadcast the episodes were compiled and released on VHS. The series is based on the children’s book series Ekubo‑chan to Buba‑chan.
