Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro, middle‑school classmates who could not be more different, form the heart of the story. Nagisa is the energetic star lacrosse player adored by her peers, while Honoka is the quiet “Queen of Intelligence.” Yet beneath their contrasting personalities lie two extraordinary alter egos: Cure Black and Cure White, the emissaries of light in the Pretty Cure universe. Together with the support of the two fairies Mipple and Mepple, they battle the Dotsuku Zone, a malevolent force that has invaded the Garden of Light. To prevent the Dotsuku Zone from also overtaking the Garden of Rainbows, the girls must collaborate to locate seven Prism Stones and restore the Prism Hopish, a powerful artifact that can drive the darkness away. Facing formidable enemies along the way, Nagisa and Honoka grow to work as a team, mastering their newfound powers to protect both worlds from further destruction.
