Description
Kintarou Oe may not look like a typical intellectual, yet he is a genius who finished all his university courses and then dropped out before graduating. He becomes a wandering student, traveling from place to place on his bicycle, eager to learn as much as he can about life, the world, and women. He is willing and capable of doing any job he can find to prove himself. His journeys take him to a variety of locations and introduce him to a range of women, each of whom grows fond of the hardworking young man, though he always manages to run off before they fully commit.
