Description
Hideo Ozu works as an editor at a shady adult‑video company and has long dreamed of becoming a motion‑picture director while his childhood friend, Mai Kurosawa, rises to fame as an up‑and‑coming actress. One day, Mai confiscates all of Hideo’s amateur footage of her and orders him to stay away from her life, shattering his aspirations. After a few drinks, Hideo bumps into Cyberdoll Sara, who asks him to sign an invoice. When he arrives at his apartment, he is greeted by three Cyberdolls, Mai, Ai, and Mie, each resembling a different age of Mai Kurosawa. When Kurosawa announces the release of a biographical video that uses Hideo’s old footage, he resolves to restart his directing career using his old material.
