Hayate Ayasaki’s life was already rough, his job was a steady source of income for his complacent family. When he loses that job, his deadbeat parents sell him to the Yakuza for cash, and he hits rock bottom. Facing a massive debt that could see him turned into a black‑market organ supplier, Hayate resorts to desperate measures. He decides to kidnap the eccentric heiress Nagi Sanzenin for ransom, but the plan goes awry. Instead of capturing her, he inadvertently rescues Nagi from other kidnappers. The twist: Nagi had been searching for a bodyguard, and Hayate is the perfect fit.
