Description
The third and fourth seasons of the Hetalia series, titled *Hetalia World Series*, continue the story originally covered in the first two seasons under a new name. They adapt the online webcomics created by Hidekazu Himaruya. The series is based on the popular web‑released manga by Himaruya and has been described as a cynical gag comedy set in Europe between 1915 and 1939. It uses exaggerated caricatures of various nationalities portrayed by a cast of bishōnen. For instance, the Italia Veneziano character is obsessed with pasta and women; the Deutsche (German) bishōnen loves potatoes and sausages; and Nippon is an otaku boy.
