Description
Remy, a cheerful and tender‑hearted girl, lives with her mother in a small French country town. One day her father returns after many years away in the city, only to tell Remy that she is not their biological daughter and that she has almost been sold to a ruthless slave trader. Luckily, a wandering entertainer named Vitalis rescues her. He discovers her singing talent and invites her to join his troupe.
