Suwami Nogami’s minimalistic line drawing “Imagination Practice” is described as an unending “thought loop.” It shows an artist seated before a window, with a self‑portrait, a miniature mirror image, placed on the desk in front of him. While the window frame and blue sky, complete with moving clouds, are rendered in color, the artist’s figure remains uncolored. The accompanying soundtrack mimics a skipping record, punctuated by playful springing noises reminiscent of Bugs Bunny, as the image appears to bounce in a continuous loop from the establishing shot into the drawing itself.
