Kappamaki

Kappamaki and his sushi friends are charming, cute‑cool characters who soothe grating emotions and heal weary hearts. Created originally in clay by Miss Eri Okamoto, they live in a small, peaceful village surrounded by unspoiled nature, flowers, fields, a green forest, and a crystal‑clear river. All inhabitants, including Kappamaki and his companions, are naïve, honest, and tender‑hearted. The village features a school, a park, houses, business offices, and shops just like any ordinary small community. A friendly narrator describes it as a typical Alpine village with the glamour of Paris and the atmosphere of Venice, prompting the question, “Is it really?” A closer look reveals that the village itself appears to be made of sushi tools: the banks of the canals are sushi pails, and the buildings are stacked sushi baskets. The animated shorts are filled with humorous mishaps and heart‑warming tales that bring smiles and chuckles to everyone, while also offering educational moments about friendship and kindness. Enjoy these mind‑healing stories set in this fantastical sushi‑themed land.
