Set in the Meiji era, Kidou Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken follows Kondou Yuuko, Hijikata Toshie, and Okita Kaoru, daughters of former Shinsengumi members. Like their fathers, they are called upon to safeguard Japan from contemporary threats, often confronting mysterious paranormal phenomena that increasingly surface in Kyoto and defending the city from any other dangers that arise.
