The story follows several children with extraordinary traits: one whose head is a set of numerals; another who winds his own face and keeps it under his arm; a child whose eyes are provided by fish; a child who lies on the floor and head‑butts his identity; and a child who cannot speak because a zipper covers his mouth. He unzips the zipper, only to discover another one beneath it. The narrative explores the ecology and philosophy of children marked by sadness and humor.
