Description
In 2039, helper androids are widespread as general‑purpose electronics. Keiichiro, who has retired from his band after losing his family in a traffic accident, discovers an old model android in a garbage dump and brings her home. When he takes her to a repair shop, the technicians tell him she cannot be fixed, and he intends to discard her. However, the next day he finds her preparing breakfast for him. From that moment, the summer days of a memoryless android and a dreamless boy begin. Kowarekake no Orgel originally appeared as an independent animation released as an OVA, and later received a theatrical release that is slightly longer and different from the original.
