Short film shown exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, this animated piece adapts a story from the long‑standing, award‑winning children’s book *Iya Iya En* by Rieko Nakagawa. The tale follows Shigeru, a young boy attending Tulip Nursery School. One morning he watches the older boys build a block ship and decides to join in. The completed vessel, named Elephant and Lion, soon transforms the surroundings into a sea complete with swimming fish. The children then equip the ship with fishing rods and ropes and set off on a whale hunt.
