In spring, a fox finds itself at the center of a bustling party. The raccoon‑dog family, whose workers reveal their seasonal labors during the hot summer and the harvest in autumn, are the hosts. A foolish fox attempts to raid the raccoon‑dog’s dumplings, sweating as it carries the harvest, but before the raccoon dogs can enjoy it, the fox snatches food that was meant for the rabbit. When cold winter arrives, the raccoon family gathers around a warm hearth, while the fox, struggling for sustenance, wanders through the snow.
