Continuing from the end of the first season, Arcadia is devastated by a sudden surge of Thanatos and the disappearance of the Aube Hunters. Desperation grips the nation as the Religious Organization struggles to fight the spreading threat. Six months have passed since the Hidamari Mansion burned to ashes, and the once‑lauded Aube Hunters are now blamed for the spread of Thanatos. Still, hope remains that the Queen’s Egg will one day return, destined to become Arcadia’s savior. Unbeknownst to most, the Aube Hunters have quietly awaited the awakening of Angelique, who has slept throughout this turmoil.
