Description
When sparrows twitter and crows caw, the morning arrives at the Osekisho, a major border checkpoint in the Hakone mountains. The checkpoint attracts numerous traveling entertainers from Mishima and Odawara. Once the decree is announced, “No one can pass this great border checkpoint without a pass”, those without steady employment cringe, as they lack the required permits. Then, a kindly official announces that anyone who can demonstrate their entertainment talents may cross the checkpoint.
