Description

The Tour de France, the world’s most prestigious bicycle race, is poised for a new milestone. The top contender is a Japanese high‑school boy named Shinozaki Mikoto. “Why don’t you join our bicycle club?” urges Fukazawa, Mikoto’s secret love. Yet, despite his age, Mikoto has never learned how to ride a bike. With no real knowledge of what a bicycle club entails, he begins earnest practice. As he overcomes this challenge and starts pedaling, a fire that has smoldered inside him for fifteen years finally ignites. “I want to devote myself to bike riding,” he declares. Facing setbacks with friends and rivals alike, he continues to pedal toward the goal of becoming the world’s top racer.
