Description
In 19th‑century France, 15‑year‑old Isabelle Laustin, a young noblewoman, makes her debut among the aristocracy at a grand ball in Versailles. Shortly afterward, the French army suffers defeat at Sedan, forcing Isabelle and her family to abandon their mansion and seek refuge in Paris, where they become actively involved in the struggle against the Prussians.
