Description
Five years after the incident known as the Human Annihilation Mission, a Japanese novelist is battling writer’s block following the disappearance of a friend. In Hong Kong, three sisters, masters of the art of paper, run a detective agency that solves cases involving books. When the novelist and the sisters cross paths, they form a bond stronger than family ties, a bond that will be severely tested by malevolent forces intent on world domination. Anita, Maggie, Michelle, and Nenene set out on a globe‑spanning mission to stop the evil mastermind Mr. Carpenter, provided they can finally put down the books they’re reading.
