Description
R20: Ginga Kuukou was created as a pilot film for a Gainax anime intended to continue the story after their debut feature, Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise. Unfortunately, the first film failed at the box office, and the collapse of the Japanese asset price bubble left no company willing to fund the project, preventing the sequel from being produced.
