Description

Ranma Saotome is a prodigy and top‑class martial artist at his family’s Saotome “Anything‑Goes” school. While training in China, he and his father accidentally fall into a cursed spring, which turns Ranma into a girl whenever he is splashed with cold water; only hot water restores him to his male form. The curse complicates matters when his father arranges a marriage with one of Soun Tendo’s three daughters to secure the Tendo dojo’s future. Soun, aware of Ranma’s predicament, still insists on proceeding with the engagement and selects his youngest daughter, Akane, a skilled fighter who openly despises men. Ranma ½ chronicles the comedic adventures of Ranma and Akane as they face various opponents, encounter new love interests, and continuously try to provoke each other, all while the looming engagement keeps them on edge.
