Set in 18th‑century Europe, 243 years before the events of the original “Saint Seiya”, the story chronicles a renewed Holy War between the Goddess Athena and the King of Hades. The conflict, driven by their repeated clashes over the defense of Earth, stretches across two centuries. Three children, Tenma, Alone, and Sasha, share a joyful childhood. Tenma, an aggressive but honorable boy, leaves for Sanctuary to become a Saint. There he is reunited with Sasha, who is Alone’s sister and the reincarnation of Athena. Alone, a gentle, art‑loving youth, is chosen as the vessel for the enemy King Hades. Tenma ultimately attains the rank of Saint of Pegasus and engages in fierce battles as the war unfolds.
