After Colony 196 – one year after the war between Earth and its colonies ended, Heero, Duo, Trowa and Quatre bid farewell to their Gundams and jettisoned them into the sun. Relena Darlian has become deputy minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation. As the pilots adjust to peace on Earth, Relena is kidnapped and a new threat emerges, led by Marimeia Khushrenada, the daughter of the late dictator Treize Khushrenada and heir to the Barton Foundation. Complicating matters further, Gundam Nataku pilot Wufei has sided with this faction. The Gundam pilots must recover their mobile suits and engage in battle once again before Marimeia’s forces can achieve global domination.
