Description
A traffic safety short aimed at elementary school children follows Yat‑chan, a boy who knows the rules of the road but chooses to ignore them because he feels playing in the street is more important. His disregard leads to an accident that claims his life. Miko, Yat‑chan’s childhood friend and classmate, is left devastated by his loss. The film ends with Miko crying fiercely as the sun sets and a dragonfly glides by. Rather than simply teaching safety rules, the short relies on an emotional approach, hoping to prompt children to follow traffic rules they already understand by highlighting the sorrow that would be caused by a loved one’s death.
