A boy walking home through the city discovers a new path and follows it. As rain begins to fall, he seeks shelter with the help of a girl, with whom he falls in love. She gives him a feather, promising that if he always carries it, they will meet again. He follows the path back home, but the next day he cannot find it. Years later he forgets the girl. Fifty years afterward, he returns to the same city and dreams of her, still dutifully carrying the feather. The work is written, drawn, and directed by famed illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.
