Description
The pilot film for *Uchuu Senkan Yamato* was produced in August 1974 for Yomiuri Television executives. It remained unreleased to the public until 16 years later, when it appeared in the *Uchuu Senkan Yamato* LD Box Set. Later DVD and Blu‑ray releases also included the pilot, but some sound and audio tracks are missing due to a copyright dispute that arose between the LD and the subsequent DVD/Blu‑ray releases.
