Walls
Description
Walls is a first‑year animation created in 2010 by a student of the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation at Tokyo University of the Arts. The short follows a man who walks through a crowded street, unable to stand the noise and pressure, and he covers his ears. Suddenly the crowd vanishes, and he finds himself lost in a vast white void. In this empty space he encounters only himself; he has no way to identify his own existence, and his sense of self seems to dissolve into nothingness. He begins to struggle, attempting to escape from the void.
