Bubbles, a carp who lives in Carp Lake with his grandmother, often hears her tell stories of the legendary ruler of seas and rivers, the Dragon, who Bubbles idolises. One day, Bubbles encounters Evil Snake, who pretends to be the Dragon King. Evil Snake and his two accomplices, Lobby and Bogart, accompany Bubbles to the lake, where his grandmother suspects that he is an impostor. No one believes her at first until Evil Snake’s “dragon horns” and fake skin slip from his body, revealing his true identity. In anger, Evil Snake turns Bubbles’ grandmother into a bubble during a fierce fight.
