Yat‑chan remains a ghost, now wielding supernatural powers to teach traffic rules with a laser beam from his finger, though he remains invisible and inaudible to people. In a parallel thread, he watches over a boy named Ken‑chan, who bears a striking resemblance to him and behaved similarly in traffic during his life. Ken‑chan has a childhood friend and classmate named Miko, unrelated to Yat‑chan’s Miko from the first OVA. Ken‑chan nearly dies in a manner similar to Yat‑chan, but Yat‑chan saves him using his beam. Throughout the story, Ken‑chan encounters others who disregard traffic safety, and with Yat‑chan’s guidance, they help various individuals, such as an elderly woman too tired to climb the stairs of a pedestrian overpass and who needs to cross the road.
