Description
Yuki, a thirteen‑year‑old girl, is summoned from Heaven by her grandparents to descend to Earth and rescue a village torn by bandits. If she fails within one year, she will become as insubstantial as wind. In the village, Yuki befriends a group of orphans whose parents were killed by the bandits and who now survive by begging. She amazes them by taming the wild horse Blizzard and becomes instrumental in rallying the orphans and farmers to confront the bandits, then the greedy lord Goemon who controls the region.
