JIN-ROH Receives 4K Restoration and Dolby Atmos Re-Release in March 2026

The acclaimed 1999 anime film JIN-ROH: The Wolf Brigade is returning to theaters in 2026 with a brand-new 4K restoration. As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the movie has been remastered from its original 35mm negatives, offering fans an upgraded visual experience that highlights the film’s gritty, atmospheric world. In addition to the enhanced visuals, JIN-ROH is also receiving a Dolby Atmos audio upgrade, giving the movie a richer and more immersive soundtrack.

The newly restored version will debut in Japanese theaters on March 6, 2026. To accompany the theatrical release, a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray edition is scheduled for March 25, 2026, including early sales in selected cinemas.
