Description
Produced by Toei Animation and directed by Kazumi Fukushima, *Asari‑chan* adapts Muroyama Mayumi’s manga. The story follows Asari, an ordinary fourth‑grade girl who, while bargain‑shopping, wins a lottery ticket for a solo trip to Hawaii. The unexpected win sparks chaos within the Beach family, as relatives argue over who should take the trip. To make matters worse, the ticket is accidentally burned in a bonfire. Further complications arise when the family learns that the travel agency has offered to reimburse half of the travel expenses in cash for the ticket, a deal brokered through an employee at the supermarket Asahi where the family shopped. How will the unlucky Beach family cope as more misfortunes pile up?
