Description

Death Note: Rewrite comprises two special episodes. The first, “Genshisuru Kami” (Visions of a God), is a two‑hour compilation that focuses on the confrontations between Light and L, re‑edited from Ryuk’s perspective with new dialogue, an updated soundtrack, and additional animation that was omitted from the original series. An unnamed Shinigami visits Ryuk to question him about the new narrative in the human world. The second special, “Eru o Tsugu Mono” (L’s Successors), continues where the first left off and further develops Light’s story. It mirrors the earlier special by concentrating on the conflicts among Light, Mello, and Near.
