Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Destiny Special Edition is a set of four television movies adapted from the original Gundam Seed Destiny series. The films are: The Broken World (Kudakareta Sekai), Respective Swords (Sorezore no Ken), The Hell Fire of Destiny (Sadame no Goka), and The Cost of Freedom (Jiyuu no Daishou). Each movie features new or altered scenes that expand upon the original series. Unlike the TV series, which is told from the perspectives of Shinn Asuka and Kira Yamato, the Special Edition is presented through Athrun Zala’s point of view, giving the story a more neutral narration.
