Description

The .hack//G.U. Trilogy is a CG film adaptation of the CyberConnect2 hit game, woven into the narrative of each title in the .hack//G.U. trilogy. The story follows Haseo, a player in the online MMORPG The World:R2 who once earned the nickname “Terror of Death” as a PKK and was a former member of the disbanded Twilight Brigade guild. Haseo encounters Azure Kite, mistakenly believing him to be Tri‑Edge and blaming him for Shino’s fate. Azure Kite defeats Haseo, drains his data, and reduces his level from 133 to 1, leaving him without any items, weapons, or member addresses. Haseo must then uncover the nature of the mysterious Data Drain.
