Description

While playing the newly released MMORPG “The World,” Minase Mai and Tomonari Kasumi collapse in real life and are taken to the hospital after hearing a mysterious sound. Only Mai recovers, while Kasumi slips into a mysterious coma. Later, Mai is approached by the creator of “The World,” Tokuoka Junichiro, who reveals that, like Kasumi, six other players across the country collapsed while playing the game and are now in similar comas. What exactly is “The World,” what is the mysterious sound Mai keeps hearing, and why are people slipping into comas from this game? Minase, Junichiro, and their acquaintances set off…
