Description

In 2015 the online game *The World* was destroyed. CC Corporation later rebuilt it by incorporating data from a former, unrelated title and released the revamped version, *The World R:2*, in 2016. New player Haseo is immediately PKed upon entry, but is revived by the enigmatic Ovan. Facing a surge of PK activity, Haseo receives assistance from a Harvest named Shino. Curiosity and confusion lead him to join the Twilight Brigade, a guild dedicated to locating the legendary Key of the Twilight. The story takes place before the events of *.hack//G.U.*
